Detailed description:

Rotate through as Front Desk Agent, Reservations Agent, and Front Desk Supervisor at this Hilton Hotel! Located just 12.5 miles from downtown New Orleans, it is the perfect location for any candidate, whether you want a downtown atmosphere or a more suburban feel!

On your days off visit the many historical Museums, such as the Vodoo Museum or the National WWII Museum. Take a trip to the Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, the French Quarter, or simply take a tour around town!

 

Placement Remarks:

 

 

Front Desk & Reservations Agent: $13.00 per hour

Front Desk Supervisor: $16.00 per hour

Benefits:

*$500 sign-on bonus!*

Uniforms are provided.

Free meals are provided in the employee break room.

Vacation time is accrued. Anywhere from 3-12 months, 40 hrs of vacation time can be accrued.

Transportation from the airport is provided via the hotel's airport shuttle.

Up to 30 days complimentary room and tax on property is provided.

The hotel recommends purchasing a mode of transportation

Salary:

Front Desk & Reservations Agent: $13.00 per hour

Front Desk Supervisor: $16.00 per hour

J-1 Management Training USA

 

  • $1,250 for the J-1 visa (waived for culinary applicants in 2023)

  • $220 SEVIS fee (waived for culinary applicants in 2023)

  • $250 program- and insurance fee per month for the duration of your career program. This fee can be paid in monthly installments and includes the mandatory insurance.

  • $185 consulate appointment fee

  • Airfare, depending on season and location

Requirements 

  • You are enrolled in a full-time post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry

OR

  • You have a hospitality degree from a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution and at least 1 year of recent relevant experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA)

OR

  • You have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)
